Description:The first eight are pictures from my friend's(Rahul) village
in Kutch.His uncle clicked these.His village is very close to the epicentre
of the earth quake,so the destruction was immense as is seen in these pictures.Most
of the village seems to have been razed.The last pic is one from the city
of Ahemdabad.The primary reason why so many people died in cities seems
to be that corrupt govt. officials allowed buildings of a lower quality
to be built.The only sad part of this entire episode for me is that after
all this devastation,the people and the officials will again go back to
their old corrupt ways,and I am sure that after some time they will again
build buildings of poor quality to save theirfuckin precious
money!
